The self-contained/resource classroom follows the regular education curriculum. Although the class follows the regular education curriculum, many modifications are put into place depending on the ability of the child. Each child is an individual and is taught in the style that works best for him/her. The children do receive aid in everything they do. I strongly believe they should test their own abilities and try their best at everything they do, whether they are working on their own or with myself. All children have the ability to do anything they want to, however, sometimes they need a little help finding their way. That is what I am here for. My sole objective is to give my students the tools they need to achieve success in the "Regular Education Class" and beyond.
