Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year! I hope this communication continues to find you safe and well.
We look forward to the return of our students on Tuesday, January 19th, following the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 18th. Please remind your child that we remain vigilant with our health and safety protocols including wearing masks at all times, proper distancing, and frequently washing and sanitizing hands.
As we are in the middle of winter and we want bring in our students from the cold, we are adjusting our arrival and dismissal procedures in the following manner:
PreK Students - Please continue to enter door #14 (Kindergarten doors) where Mrs. Salamone and PreK staff members will guide the children in having their temperatures checked and hands sanitized. Dismissal will also be through door #14.
Grades K-3 Students - We will bring these children right into door #13 (gymnasium doors) where our staff members will guide the children in having their temperatures checked and hands sanitized. Dismissal will also be through door #13.
Grades 4-8 Students - These children will continue to line up properly distanced outside of door #3 (4th/5th grade wing). At 8:15 AM, we will open the playground gates and bring these children, properly distanced, right into the building through door #4 (playground doors) where they will have their temperatures checked and hands sanitized. Dismissal will be through door #3 (4th/5th grade wing).
I have missed seeing your children and you every day and look forward to reopening the school district for in person instruction on Tuesday, January 19th. In the meantime, I hope you and your families remain safe and well.
