Ms. Cuevas
Welcome to Speech Therapy! My name is Maria Cuevas and I am the Speech and Language Pathologist at Woodrow Wilson School. I work with students who benefit from support with articulation, voice, fluency, and/or receptive and expressive language skills. I began my career as a special education teacher in the New York City and California public schools, and it is my experience with children with special needs that inspired me to pursue speech pathology. Being an SLP allows me to focus on what I love most about education - helping students become more effective communicators!
Please contact me if you would like to discuss your child’s current speech therapy program or if you have concerns about your child’s communication skills
